Airtight Home Technologies uses the patented and award-winning AeroBarrier technology to air seal new homes, major renovations and commercial projects. All homes; detached, towns and high-rise units can be sealed. Sealing is completed after the installation of the air barrier. This is often after the drywall is taped and sanded, and before floors, cabinets or finishes are installed. 
Improvements to the designated air barrier of 50-70% are normal, and consistently achieved. The aerosolized AeroBarrier can fill holes up to 5/8”, including holes that are hidden within the walls or ceiling assemblies. This process is ideal for any builder or renovator wanting to deliver a more airtight, comfortable and energy efficient product. For those looking to meet an energy standard, the consistency of air tightness from house to house allows “trade-offs” with other energy efficiency features. The building airtightness is continuously monitored during the seal and a sealing certificate is provided. For planning, the seal is completed in less than a day and trades can enter the building 30 minutes after we finish.
